Travel Links

The links that I've listed are used for planning my trips. The first link (Booking.com) is used for my hotel bookings. Booking.com offers excellent deals via the genius loyalty program. Level one, you will receive a 10% discount; level two will receive a 15% discount; and level three will receive a 20% discount. As a genius level two, you have access to free breakfast and room upgrades. Booking.com also offers discount coupons that may be redeemed as travel or cash credit depending on the coupon that booking.com offers. I always compare it to other sites, but I've noticed that booking.com is the best site for booking hotels once you've become an established member.

I use the last two links (Rakuten and CapitalOne Shopping) for my excursion booking hubs. Rakuten and capitalone shopping offer cashback, and we all love to save or make money while traveling. Both sites offer TripAdvisor and Viator, which I use to book excursions. I choose which hub to use based on the percentage I will receive back. Rakuten offers cashback, which is paid out quarterly, while CapitalOne Shopping offers cashback that can only be redeemed via gift cards.

Tip:  Always use your credit card to pay for your trips. Credit cards protect your trip depending on your credit card's benefits. Also, if you have to cancel and are having a hard time receiving a refund from the company, file a dispute with your credit card company, and they will take care of it for you.
